Nothing is due in the next week. However, is this useful? Is anyone using this community data other than me? Because if not, I'll stop updating. But if it's useful, I'll keep it up.

Remember: For anything Harry Potter fandom related, please refer to the Potterfests community on Dreamwidth or on LiveJournal. Additionally, there is a new community called vocab_drabbles (located here) that does weekly drabbles based on a vocabulary word.

I find it useful. I had a question what about things that run for the entire month?

Every year spiralicious and I cohost bingo at allbingo.

July we host Winterfest in July/ We have Falfest in October. The dates are more than a week.

First of all, thank you for letting me know it's useful! I find it useful for me, but because I've been working so much lately, I was wondering if I needed to retire this. So definitely no retirement! :)

I can add these in there (not sure why I haven't already) but have a question: Should I add in a Start Date field, too? So that "Start Date" and "Due Date" are both on the list? And then when I send something out, I can send out anything that has already started but not necessarily ending in the next week, and then of course anything ending in the next week.

Thoughts?

I think a start date would be great. It's nice to know you are accepting the longer ones. I had it in my head it was just the week at hand. I like that you have a place to find new things. I know we all want Dreamwidth to be more active.

Are you allowing original fiction communities as well? madrona_project it has a new renaissance theme. This month we are celebrating Vine Fest. A big carnival kind of setting to celebrate all things from the vine.

Oh yeah - the longer the better! ;) But seriously, I decided not to do stuff that was 7 days or shorter only because it would always be updating the community. So these month-long fests are perfect!

And I've updated the community to use a start & stop date both, and my weekly updates will have stuff starting AND stuff stopping for the upcoming week. Thank you for the idea!

As for madrona_project - yep! That'll be good; any community is fair game. I haven't seen a post yet for July, so as soon as that happens I'll add it to the list.

Thank you! I am sorry it took so long to get back to you things have been crazy pants around here. I try to get the newsletter posted on the first some months it takes until the third. Thanks again.
